Been a pretty awkward month but back with some more vids.  First up some DBA catch up: Click here for Report  Then the first of our Middle Earth SBG tournament: Click here for MESBG report With a few shots of some of the other games:  Finally some things i have been working on for next years project.    My plan is to return to the Old Worlde, going back to some 6th Edition fantasy gaming. Working on an alternative (End times) story setting. In this case the Empire has been overrun, its has fallen back beyond the mountains into Bretonnia / Estalia. Here they are holding against the forces of Chaos.     The great leaders are dead and leadership has fallen to the few who will step up to the challenge. While the Chaos forces have disintegrated with the destruction of Achaon the Uniter.   Now new heroes need to rise to unite the factions and take back their homes...  I hope to start with some Warhammer Skirmish games

Hey folks,                 I now have my mitts on the Middle-earth SBG rulebook and so far I am really happy with what has been done. I will hopefully do a quick review of the rules in a coming video, once i have had more games.   At my club we have a slow grow going for ME and I'm digging out my Harad to have and an excuse to get them painted. The first month is 150pts then: 300pts (October), 500pts(November) and finishing of 750pts (December). So far so good, as i am ahead on my Harad, so i am gonna try and get my Rivendell complete at the same time. Hey, folks. I know its been a while, but i have been busy at work and spending my time getting stuff painted and ready for the DBA tournament i ran.   I completed my Persians finally, and was happy how they turned out.The terrain pieces i made to go with them was a gentle hill, wood and two plough. I also had my road but i made that ages ago.   The tournament went well with 8 games payed in the day, which didn't feel too stressful and shows the strength of the system that you can so many games in during the day. This allowed each player to play their opponent twice. Hi folks, just a quick shout out for my clubs upcoming DBA event in Cornwall, UK. Hopefully you can see the info below. Dha weles

  Hey Folks, its been a while. The sunny weather has kept my busy in work, but finally i have the final two reports from our SAGA event. Click here for Game 3 Click here for Game 2   With the results of the event i came away with a "Vagn the Fearless" model. Which i really liked the look of, so i instantly got him painted. I am unsure what to do.. do i look at mustering for some Jomsvike or shall i have him as a prize.... below are some photo's of him. Sorry they are not sharp but my camera seems to be failing me and struggles to focus.   We have also been having a epic day games of Lord of the Rings. We have been doing the old "Castle Duel" scenario, which have done before. Each time we play we adjust the rules and they get better each time. Below are some shots of the battle, plus the rules we use. I would point we use the siege rules for the castles from the blue book, not the new hobbit book, which seems to have removed

  This weekend I ran a SAGA tourney. Designed to be a friendly event to get folks into the new V2 rules, the day went well. ...so this Sunday we are having a little tournament and this is my last practice game. After this game i reckon i have decided on what to take, of which i explain in the vid. Hey folks, i have made two quick reviews. The first i look at the supplement for the Viking Age for SAGA. Click Here for Review   Secondly, is a review for some great plastic scenery from Warlord Games (tabletop workshop). I stumbled across them while looking at warlords new castle and they caught my interest. Especially the fact they also had internal detail. So i picked one up. I was so impressed i brought some others and thought i'd share my thought on these fantastically well thought out pieces. You can find them here . Click here for review  I have also got round to finishing of my Frostgrave warband. With the last few painted, my starting warband is complete.  And finally got to havea go at Gaslands from Osprey games, and it was great fun.
